Working From Home…A Saga, In How Many Parts TBD

So today marks my official 1 month anniversary of working from home. It’s been something…for someone as social as myself, it’s definitely tough. I’m energized by people, so it’s been nice that meetings with my boss are more and more frequent. I’m learning to discipline myself, no easy task. Everything has pros and cons, but the major plus I’m discovering is a massive amount of creative freedom. Since the dawn of time (2nd grade), I’ve billed myself (if only to…myself) as a writer and it’s very cool and definitely a little challenging to be tasked with duties that are purely editorial. A major plus working for a small company…if I have an idea and my boss likes it, it very well could go into production in a format that is published and visible (getting there, but that’s more of the nitty gritty).

Goals for next month

1. Discipline, discipline, discipline

2. Find extracurricular activities so I am not the only human that exists in my day-to-day universe

3. Have fun, push myself, be creative

So those are my thoughts.
